Executive Committee Chairperson and Co-Chairperson

Please note: These job descriptions were composed for medium to large sized outreaches with Impact World Tour. For smaller events not all positions or simplified procedures might be required, please apply common sense in determining the needs for your community.

The Executive Committee Chair and Co-Chair will work directly with the YWAM Coordinator to oversee the mobilization of the Body of Christ in their region. The Chair and Co-Chair should be frequently communicating, working and praying together.

The primary functions of these positions are:

Spiritual leadership of the Executive Committee and the Impact World Tour.
Work with Coordinator and Exec. Committee to produce a master calendar of events.
Rallying the Pastors and Christians in the region to be involved (may require frequent meetings with pastors to encourage their involvement).
Leading the Impact World Tour Executive Committee meetings.
Take an active role in the fundraising.
Ensure the agenda is used properly - items should be submitted at the correct time. Also check that minutes are accurate and detailed enough with clear action steps including completion dates and person responsible.
Work closely with Logistics, Discipleship and Fundraising Team Leader and IWT Coordinator.

Considerations for the Executive Chairperson and Co-Chairperson:

Men or women of influence.
Respected in the Christian and secular community.
Ability to work well inter-denominationally, being respectful of differing views within the church.
Good at motivating others to be involved.
Desire for unity in the Body of Christ.
Willing to give a considerable amount of time to oversee the campaign.
Skilled in delegation and leadership.
