YWAM Campaigns l Impact World Tour

What does it mean to be a participating church with Impact World Tour?

Pray
for the lost by developing/adopting and implementing a focused prayer strategy.

Promote
in your church the Impact World Tour evangelistic, prayer, worship, fundraising, and training events planned by the executive committee. Promotion includes giving verbal and written information to your congregation.

Prepare
a written discipleship plan for your church. This includes an action plan for accommodating inquirers into your various church programs. Special attention needs to be given to new and young believers that have not come to church often, and may not be comfortable or able to do so even though they have accepted Christ.

We will also need help with housing and transportation for staff and performance team members. Every participating church is asked to provide at least one meal for the teams during the campaign week(s).

IWT Kick-Off Sunday

  • Welcome by Church Leader
  • Weekly Announcements
  • Worship
  • Tithes and Offering
  • Introduce IWT Speaker
Please share a bit from your heart on why you are part of this outreach.
  • Presentation
The speaker will need a projector and DVD player/computer to show the promotional DVD.
  • Pledge Cards
This gives the congregation a chance to give towards the local budget.
  • Sign-up Brochure
We will need some help with passing out and collecting the different items. The head usher will be asked to help count the offering and seal it in an envelope - ready for the local treasurer.
  • Closing Prayer by Church Leader
by hosting a ‘Church Kick-Off’ Sunday morning service at your church. The goals and purpose are:
  • Communicating the vision and providing a better understanding of Impact World Tour
  • Presenting opportunities for involvement
  • Fundraising
Our first goal is to make sure that the general church body has a solid understanding of the heart and vision of the Impact World Tour. We have found this is best accomplished by scheduling a guest speaker from IWT (subject to availability) to speak for the regular preaching portion of your church service.

The congregation is given a commitment pledge card. At this point, they have the opportunity to give towards the budget. We make it very clear that this is a free will offering, above and over their tithe, and that their tithe belongs to the local church body.

Finally, very specific opportunities are offered for involvement. A simple brochure is passed out, listing these opportunities. The congregation is then able to sign up for the team(s) that best suits their interest and giftings. We can adapt our presentation to the order of your service.
